With nearly a decade of police custody experience, Martin Fox is fully conversant in all manner of custody practices and how police the deal with prisoners, and can advise on those important ‘in-station’ scenes such as interviews and how they should be portrayed.
Script Advice
Martin can provide input at initial script development for screen writers, to help them avoid out of date practices and with our help, bring your police drama up to date with the best and most modern techniques and practises. He can work with Assistant Directors to put the right background characters in the correct scenes and settings, getting rid of unnecessary or incorrect characters.
Personal Protective Equipment training
Martin was a Tactical Defence Instructor for many years in the Police, teaching officers to correctly use their personal protective equipment, such as batons, handcuffs and also apply correct control and restrain to avoid injury. Use him to train your actors and supporting artists to use their equipment correctly and authentically.
